Our approach to teaching and learning is essentially learner-centred and communicative. This means trainers focus on individual student needs, student interests and student aims, and learners are encouraged to participate actively in the process of learning and acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills.

International TESOL College is a young and modern organisation that was established to provide English Language (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) programs in order to meet the need for professional TESOL teachers and tutors throughout the world.

We provide intensive internationally recognised programs, to give you a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of teaching English.  We do not compromise on quality and only accept applicants who have the required English language skills to become successful English teachers. Our courses have passed stringent Australian accreditation processes.

TESOL training involves providing participants with the knowledge and skills to be able to teach English to speakers of other languages, either in an ESL (English as a Second Language – usually taught in a native English speaking country) or EFL (English as a Foreign Language – generally taught in a non-native English speaking country) context.

The course consists of face-to-face workshops and tutorials supported by email, telephone and web contact with your trainer.  Students participate in hands-on, interactive workshops where they observe and practice innovative new techniques for language learning. At different stages of the program students are required to complete activities by themselves and follow them through, in consultation with their trainer.
